Successful since 1972
metaku Metall- und Kunststoffbau GmbH was founded in Liebenau in 1972. The main activity in the beginning was the metal foundry of decorative structures. In the 1980s, however, it became clear that the focus and strength of the company lay in the production of entrance door panels.
From this point on, the company increasingly developed into a pioneer in front door panel construction. As a result of the growth, new capacities were constantly created and so the company moved to its current location in Breuna in 1994. This building is used exclusively for the storage of consumer goods. After the takeover of metaku Metall- und Kunststoffbau GmbH from the SOMMER Group, the front door market was opened up in 2019 and expanded in the following years. With the in-house series "Collection" and "Topseller", metaku's business area was expanded and is very well received. Flexibility and quality have always been our top priority, so our own glass production moved into a newly built company building in 2022. Over the years, the company has grown into a progressive and innovative pioneer.
